Ken Burns and Lynn Novick's 3 part series, Prohibition premieres on PBS beginning this Sunday, October 2, 3, and 4th. I've been dying to see this ever since I heard Ken Burns talk about it last year. It's a marriage of my top two or three favorite things PBS/Burns and Kovick docs and classic film or in this case just talking about the old days. Though I'm sure there will be some clips of TCM fare.
I heard a rumor Mar Vista Mom will be playing a little drinking game during the show. A shot every time they say Volstead Act. That could get a little dangerous for a school night, so be sure to use the good bathtube gin.
Just knock twice and tell them Elise's Ramblings sent ya....
